Why join the Anti-Stigma Network?

We need you

Anyone can join the Anti-Stigma Network and there is no charge.

Our work is focused on the UK but we welcome people and organisations from outside the UK to join us

 We just ask that you commit to:

  • Calling out stigma and discrimination when you experience it and observe it

  • Working with other members to share how best to understand stigma and fight discrimination

Individual membership

1) Sign up with your email address to become a member of the Anti-Stigma Network by adding your email address to the box below.

2) You’ll receive our welcome email and details of the network’s activities and events.

3) Join network activities and events and promote and share your work, campaign, research or story.

4) Access our shared resources and help us build a library of information that drives change

Organisational membership

The commitment to end stigma is a personal one driven by our individual values and commitment to human rights and equality. However, there is a clear role for organisations of all types to help make change.

In response to requests from many organisations, we are now in a position to offer Organisational Membership of the Anti Stigma Network.

What can organisations do? 

You can pledge to

  • Educate staff and stakeholders to understand and identify stigma

  • Support staff to call out stigma and discrimination when they experience it or observe it

  • Support the work of the Anti-Stigma Network through the sharing of information and stories to better understand and fight stigma

  • Raise the profile of the Anti-Stigma Network within their own networks

Join us

There is no cost to joining we just ask that:

  • Chief Executive and /or Chair of trustees or other relevant senior leader becomes a champion for the network within their organisation and joins as an individual member

  • Our Anti-Stigma Network logo is displayed on your organisation’s website with a statement from the organisation setting out the action they will take to support the pledge they have made

  • Your Organisation’s logo is displayed on our Anti-Stigma Network website.
